Chicken Eggs & Chicks

Sweathouse Creek Farmstead LLC offers chicken eggs for eating, fertile chicken hatching eggs and baby chicks. Chicken eggs for eating are available year round, although supply decreases in winter when our hens are taking a well deserved break from laying.

Chicks are available seasonally, usually February through May. Contact us for availability and to be added to our waitlist. Chicks hatched are from our own flocks of fertile chicken hatching eggs so will be the breeds listed below.

We have a variety of fertile chicken hatching eggs available from our breeding flocks of chickens, prices vary depending on breed.

Here’s what we currently have available at Sweathouse Creek Farmstead LLC:

When we eat eggs, I’ve been checking each egg for fertility when we crack it open to ensure our eggs are consistently fertilized. We cannot guarantee fertility/hatching rates after purchase from us due to variations caused by incubator or broody hen conditions that may impact hatch rates.
