About

We are located along Sweathouse Creek in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley of Montana. I am a Master Gardener, Master Naturalist and Primitive Skills Instructor as well as a homeschooling parent. We have an online store and small self serve store on our homestead.

Since starting our homesteading blog Montana Homesteader in 2013, I have been teaching classes at various venues in our region as well as online. Check out the events tab for more information on upcoming classes or how to schedule your own tailored learning session.

We raise chickens and offer fertile chicken hatching eggs in a rainbow of colors. We also have eggs available for eating. We have chicks available seasonally, usually February through June. Check out our menu for more details on our eggs and chicks.

My children and I are beekeepers and care for several bee hives on our homestead. We have raw honey available and beeswax we render from our hives.

We have vegetable and native plant seedlings available spring/early summer. We also have homegrown produce available throughout the summer and fall. We use non GMO seeds and follow organic growing practices on our homestead.

We also have a variety of other homestead goods and handmade items available in our online shop and self serve store on our homestead.
